Antioxidant, phenolic and antifungal profiles of Acanthus mollis (Acanthaceae).

Acanthus mollis is used as ornamental and medicinal plant. The ethnopharmacology reports indicate that extracts have anti-inflammatory activity. Phytoconstituents profile was evaluated by estimating the content of anthraquinones, flavonoids and phenols.
