Microspheres based on galactomannan and Spondias purpurea L. extract to increase antifungal and antibiofilm efficacy against Candida spp.

The ongoing problem of an increasing resistance of Candida spp. to available antifungals, has made it necessary the search for new therapeutic alternatives. The aim of this work was to develop a microsphere based on Caesalpinia ferrea galactomannan and Spondias purpurea L.

Effect of the Combination of Synthetic Anthelmintics with Carvacryl Acetate in Emulsions with and without a Sodium Alginate Matrix on .

The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of nanoemulsions using combined synthetic anthelmintics, thiabendazole (TBZ), levamisole (LEV), and ivermectin (IVM), with carvacryl acetate (CA) against , and also tested the presence and absence of alginate (ALG). The anthelmintic effect of the CA/TBZ nanoemulsion was evaluated in the egg hatch test (EHT). The effects of CA/IVM and CA/LEV nanoemulsions were evaluated in the larval development test (LDT).
