Background: Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD) is a severe inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system that often causes disability. Based on evidence from prospective and retrospective studies, Rituximab (RTX) has been used as the first-line of therapy in NMOSD.
