Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is an acute disorder of the peripheral nervous system, causing flaccid paralysis, areflexia, and variable sensory involvement. Proximal as well distal muscles of the limbs can be involved, and in most severe and advanced cases progresses to respiratory failure and death. GBS is considered an autoimmune disease, and at the basis of the attack at the peripheral nervous system different mechanisms have been recognized, in particular viral infections or other immune stimulations.

Diagnosis is challenging due to the rarity of this neoplasm and the overlapping features with the other primary and metastatic spindle cell neoplasm, even more, when localized in an extra-nodal site.
Patients And Methods: Herein we report a case of 48 Years old woman with a six-month history of centimetric, quiet painful mass of the philtrum without other significant comorbidity.
Breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma is a new provisional entity in the revised World Health Organization classification of lymphoid malignancies, the pathogenesis and cell of origin of which are still unknown. We performed gene expression profiling of microdissected breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma samples and compared their transcriptional profiles with those previously obtained from normal T-cells and other peripheral T-cell lymphomas and validated expression of selected markers by immunohistochemistry. Our results indicate that most breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphomas exhibit an activated CD4+ memory T-cell phenotype, which is associated with CD25 and FoxP3 expression.

Vaginal immune cells were obtained, using absorbent wicks, from 11 normal cycling female monkeys at different stages of the menstrual cycle and from three nursing monkeys (not cycling). Leucocytes, including lymphocytes and monocyte-macrophage cells, were present in the cervicovaginal secretions of healthy cynomolgous primates throughout the three phases of the menstrual cycle.
