In addition to bone resorption that typically accompanies pulp necrosis, root resorption frequently occurs. Root resorption has several variants that may occur shortly after the trauma or at a later stage.

Their preparations, applications, and advantages compared with the conventional-packed and open-tubular capillary columns are discussed. A detailed description of the different types and techniques used for the introduction of chiral selectors into the monolithic matrices such as immobilization, functionalization, coating, encapsulation, and bonding.

Ex vivo models support anecdotal reports of degraded Resilon filling material; however, there is no previous clinical report of this degradation. This may represent a significant health concern for the patient and contribute to a higher clinical failure rate of Resilon-obturated root canals.

AFB₁ is transferred from poultry feed to eggs, meat, and other edible parts, representing a threat to the health of consumers because AFB₁ is carcinogenic and implicated in human liver cancer. This review considers how AFB₁ produced by and strains can affect the immune system, antioxidant defense system, digestive system, and reproductive system in poultry, as well as its effects on productivity and reproductive performance.

This material as well as the traditionally used gutta-percha with AH Plus sealer (Dentsply Maillefer, Tulsa, OK) were in use over a 9-year span in the University of North Carolina endodontic clinics. Although Resilon was initially thought to create a "monoblock" seal between the material and the canal, in vitro studies later suggested this concept not to be true.

Methods: A series of dual-cure endodontic sealers were formulated with DMAHDM and NACP at 5% and 20% by mass, respectively.
This study evaluated the optimal concentrations of dietary ME and CP for the productivity, reproductive performance, and fat deposition in laying duck breeders aged from 29 to 45 wk. Using a 3 × 3 factorial arrangement of treatments, 648 Longyan laying duck breeders with similar BW were randomly assigned to experimental diets of 2,600 (HME = high ME), 2,500 (MME = medium ME), or 2,400 (LME = low ME) kcal of ME/kg, each containing 19% (HCP = high CP), 18% (MCP = medium CP), or 17% (LCP = low CP) CP. Each dietary treatment contained 6 replicates of 12 birds each.

The prepared capillaries were investigated for the enantioselective nano-LC separation of a group of racemic pharmaceuticals, namely, α- and β-blockers, anti-inflammatory drugs, antifungal drugs, norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitors, catecholamines, sedative hypnotics, antihistaminics, anticancer drugs, and antiarrhythmic drugs. Acceptable separation was achieved for many drugs using reversed phase chromatographic conditions with no separation achieved under normal phase conditions.

It has been suggested that Left atrial (LA) strain as measured by 2D speckle tracking can be used to evaluate dynamic LA function.
Objective: To study the relation between left atrial deformation and the severity of coronary artery stenosis in patients with stable coronary artery disease (CAD).
Spring viremia of carp, a fatal viral disease, is caused by the spring viremia of carp virus (SVCV) and can result in up to 70% mortalities in common carps and significant economic losses in several other cyprinid aquaculture. The present study aimed to investigate the possible control of SVCV replication in Epithelioma papulosum cyprini (EPC) cells using the RNA interference technology targeting the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (L) gene of the SVCV that is essential for its replication. Three stealth small interfering RNA (siRNA) sequences were designed to target three different regions on the SVCV-L gene.

The capabilities of cobalt ions (Co2+) and cobalt nanoparticles (CoNPs) in enhancing alkaloids accumulation in Catharanthus roseus suspension cultures were evaluated in relation to the expression of CrMPK3 gene. Four concentrations (5, 10, 15 and 20 mg/L) of each cobalt form were utilized in addition to control. Both forms induced oxidative stress that was more pronounced for Co2+ treatments.
