Indole synthase (INS), a homologous cytosolic enzyme of the plastidal tryptophan synthase A (TSA), has been reported as the first enzyme in the tryptophan-independent pathway of auxin synthesis. This suggestion was challenged as INS or its free indole product may interact with tryptophan synthase B (TSB) and, therefore, with the tryptophan-dependent pathway. Thus, the main aim of this research was to find out whether INS is involved in the tryptophan-dependent or independent pathway.

The importance of INS was reevaluated suggesting it may interact with tryptophan synthase B (TSB) and therefore involved in the trp-dependent pathway. Thus, the main aim of this study was to clarify the route of INS through the analysis of Arabidopsis genome.

Objective: Investigate the susceptibility and severity of infection with host (rs11536889, rs4986790, rs200109652, rs10759932), (rs5744174, rs2072493, rs746250566), (rs559182335, rs10004195) polymorphisms.
Objectives: To assess the correlation between a number of genetic variations of CYP2C19, TNF-α, NOD1, NOD2, and PPARγ genes with the severity of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections and peptic ulcers (PU).
Methods: A retrospective cross-sectional design was used in this study.
Breast cancer (BC) pathogenesis is poorly understood and not yet completely determined. BC susceptibility genes are responsible for 20% to 25% of breast cancer risk. The main objective of this study is to identify the genetic polymorphisms within the Harvey rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (HRAS1) and interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL1-Ra) genes in Jordanian BC female patients and to investigate the genetic association of these polymorphisms with BC.

At 500 ppm, results showed that there was a significant reduction in pupa and adult stages: 65% and 25% for Cd, 50% and 25% for Cu, 100% and 95% for Pb, and 85% and 75% for Zn, respectively. The survival percentages at 1000 ppm were further significantly reduced: 15% and 0% for Cd, 35% and 15% for Cu, 45% and 90% for Pb, and 65% and 35% for Zn, respectively for pupa and adult stages.
