Predictive models for spatial correlation play an effective role in the assessment of seismic risk associated with distributed infrastructure and building portfolios. However, existing models often rely on simplified approaches, assuming isotropy and stationarity. This paper verifies these assumptions by presenting a comprehensive study using a database of 3D physics-based simulated broadband ground motions for Istanbul, generated by the SPEED software.

Different responses of the patient to radiation due to different intrinsic radiosensitivity (RS) were induced to the researcher try to introduce a standard assay for the prediction of RS. Clonogenic assay is recognized as a gold standard method in this subject but because of some of its disadvantages, it is needed for alternative assays.

This study aimed at determining the effect of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) of emotion regulation on the EM assistants' and interns' level of satisfaction and cognitive control of anger and stress.
Materials And Methods: In this study, 25 EM residents and interns were trained in the virtual CBT course while 19 ones were not given any training in the control group and Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ) were filled before and after the training intervention.
The nonlinear frequency response of bi-directional functionally graded porous beams experienced range of various end conditions is investigated in this work. The end conditions which are simply supported, clamped-simply supported, clamped-clamped, and clamped-free are taken by using the Von Karman geometric nonlinearity, Green's tensor and Reddy third-order shear deformation theory. A generalized differential quadrature technique (GDQM) accompanied by direct numerical iterance approach is proposed to solve equations.

Background: In addition to somatic symptoms and complaints, patients with irritable bowel syndrome have specific dysfunctional behaviors that lead to disease persistence and functional disturbance.
Methods: Participants included 170 patients with irritable bowel syndrome, who were diagnosed based on ROM-IV criteria and selected from patients referring to the Gastrointestinal Disorders Clinic, as well as 100 persons from the general population in Isfahan in 2020.
Maxillary incisors are typically straightforward cases for root canal therapy. While it is commonly assumed that maxillary central incisors have a single root canal, they may occasionally exhibit variations in their root canal system anatomy. In this report, we present a case of a maxillary central incisor with multiple root canals and provide a review of relevant literature on this anatomical variation.

In the location-routing problem, decisions are made about the location of facilities such as distribution centers as well as the set of vehicle routes. Today, organizations seek to reduce the transportation cost by outsourcing leading to a particular kind of transportation problems known as open routing.

Materials And Methods: The present double-blind randomized clinical trial was performed on 100 patients taking methadone and suffering from limb fractures. The patients were divided into two groups receiving 1 μg/kg single dose of fentanyl and 0.
Early knowledge about novel emerging viruses and rapid determination of their characteristics are crucial for public health. In this context, development of theoretical approaches to model viral evolution are important. The clusteron approach is a recent bioinformatics tool which analyzes genetic patterns of a specific E protein fragment and provides a hierarchical network structure of the viral population at three levels: subtype, lineage, and clusteron.

Methods And Materials: The study samples included twenty-five mesiobuccal roots of maxillary first molars. A two-step method was employed to prepare the MB2 canals applying HERO 642 instruments: using a 0.
Following its emergence at the end of 2021, the Omicron SARS-CoV-2 variant rapidly spread around the world and became a dominant variant of concern (VOC). The appearance of the new strain provoked a new pandemic wave with record incidence rates. Here, we analyze the dissemination dynamics of Omicron strains in Saint Petersburg, Russia's second largest city.

However, there is no available cost-effectiveness analysis comparing DOAC and LMWH. The study aimed to conduct a cost-effectiveness analysis of DOAC (apixaban, edoxaban, and rivaroxaban) LMWH for the treatment of cancer-associated VTE in Spain from the Spanish healthcare system perspective.

Arterial to end-tidal partial pressure of carbon dioxide (P(a-Et) CO) gradient may be useful in the evaluation of PE. This aimed to define the diagnostic role of P(a-Et)CO gradient by sidestream capnography, as a noninvasive method, and D-dimer in patients with PE.

We assessed the safety and short-term efficacy of IVT in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) in the expanded time window delivered through a hub-and-spoke telestroke network.

Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. Considering the fact that a high dose is delivered in a single fraction of IORT, the evaluation of the dose at sensitive organs like thyroid is necessary.
Objective: The current study has aimed to evaluate the received dose to thyroid lobes in the breast IORT technique.
In the current study, we reported our experience on sentinel node mapping of breast cancer patients during the extreme shortage of Mo99-Tc99m generators using Tc-99m phytate. During the period from March 7, 2019, to April 18, 2020, due to disruption of molybdenum supply chain, we used low specific activity Tc-99m pertechnetate elute (0.5-2 mCi of TcO in 5 mL) for each kit preparation.

The conventional method used to measure such a degree is related to performing the immunological assays of hemagglutinin inhibition. Namely, the antigenic distance between two strains is calculated on the basis of HI assays.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the four-step python training method with the Halsted's "See one, Do one, and Teach one" training method in endotracheal intubation competency in simulated environment.
Materials And Methods: This quasi-experimental study was performed on two independent groups with posttest.
Objectives: This study aimed to assess the dentin adaptability of a certain type of fluoride varnish, as a novel root canal sealer, in comparison with AH-Plus sealer.
Materials And Methods: Twenty-four extracted single-rooted, single-canal human permanent teeth with straight and fully formed roots and no internal calcification, resorption or cracks, were selected and decoronated such that the remaining root length was 14 mm in all teeth. Root canals were prepared using the Mtwo rotary file system according to the manufacturer's instructions and filled with gutta-percha and either AH-Plus (n=12) or fluoride varnish (n=12) via the lateral compaction technique.
Background: Intra-operative molecular diagnostic assays are currently used for the detection of lymph node metastases. The objective of this study was to find new biomarkers to improve diagnostic accuracy in the detection of metastatic axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer patients.
Methods: We applied an absolute quantitative real-time reverse transcription-PCR to quantitate the expression of CK19, KLK11, and CLEC3A mRNAs in 79 FFPE sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) from 35 breast cancer patients.
Purpose: The present study investigated the relationship of impacted mandibular third molars to the cortical plates and inferior alveolar canal (IAC) using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT).
Materials And Methods: The present study included CBCT images of 386 lower third molars in 226 patients, for whom the initial panoramic radiographs had revealed a close relationship between the third molars and IAC. The coronal images were prepared to determine the position of apex about the buccal and lingual cortexes and IAC.

Red mud is a hazardous waste material produced during alkaline leaching of bauxite in the Bayer process. This study proposed the use of red mud to replace fly ash in self-compacting concrete (SCC) and the influences of red mud on fresh and hardened properties, and durability performances of SCC were studied. The fresh concrete results show that red mud had a slight negative impact on the fresh properties of SCC.
