While extensive research has driven the rapid efficiency trajectory noted to date for organic-inorganic perovskite solar cells (PSCs), their thermal stability remains one of the key issues hindering their commercialization. Herein, a significant reduction in surface defects (a precursor to perovskite instability) could be attained by introducing triphenylphosphine (TPP), an effective Lewis base passivator, to the vulnerable perovskite/spiro-OMeTAD interface. Not only did TPP passivation enable a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 20.

The growth in energy devices and the role of supercapacitors are increasingly important in today's world. Designing an electrode material for supercapacitors using metals that have high performance, superior structure, are eco-friendly, inexpensive and highly abundant is essentially required for commercialization. In this point of view, quaternary chalcogenide CuNiSnS with fascinating marigold flower like microstructured electrodes are synthesized using different concentrations of citric acid (0, 0.

Research on VS4 is lagging due to the difficulty in its tailored synthesis. Herein, unique architecture design of one-dimensional VS4 nanowires anchored on reduced graphene oxide is demonstrated via a facile solvothermal synthesis. Different amounts of reduced graphene oxide with VS4 are synthesized and compared regarding their rate capability and cycling stability.

In this Research Article, we report on the development of water-based flame retardant coating based on phospho-nitrogen combination for cotton fabrics. A one-step spray-on process was employed to coat the fabrics by taking advantage of the spontaneous reaction between para-phenylenediamine (PDA) and tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium chloride (THPC) resulting in an instantaneous precipitation of poly[1,4-diaminophenylene-tris(dimethyl hydroxymethyl)phosphine] (PApP) on the fabric surface. The effectiveness of PApP in improving the flame retardant properties like ignition resistance and lateral flame spread were evaluated in accordance with ASTM D6413 and BS EN ISO 15025 flammability tests.
