Aerosols on plant leaves make it possible to assess the quality of air in settlements. The purpose of this work was to assess the acidity and specific electrical conductivity of aerosol suspensions (by washing off aerosol particles from the leaves of apricot trees (Prunus armeniaca)), which characterize the air pollution in the residential area of the Svetly Yar settlement (Volgograd region, Russia) during the spring-summer of 2019. The research hypothesis was as follows: Acidic mineralized aerosols with a mixed source are present in Svetly Yar.

Background: Despite the constant evolution of technological support, operative techniques, and rehabilitation techniques after conservative treatment and operative treatment, a considerable number of patients with calcaneal fractures have constant pain, frequently resulting in loss of occupation. There are numerous options for the operative treatment of painful calcaneal malunion; however, very few publications suggest specific radiological measurements for pre- and postoperative planning-even fewer have statistically analyzed how these radiological measurements affect clinical outcomes.

Methods: We performed a retrospective study of 100 patients after operative treatment of calcaneal malunion to determine the correlation between radiological measurements and clinical outcomes.

The effectiveness of the new antiarrhythmic drug bonnecor was tried in 59 patients with ventricular arrhythmia. High antiarrhythmic activity of the drug was recorded in the course doses 150 to 250 mg/day. Bonnecor effect is dose-dependent: the number of ventricular extrasystoles reduced by 75% in 62 and 74% of the patients receiving 150 mg/day and 20 mg/day, respectively.

The pharmacodynamics of the new antiarrhythmic agent bonnecor was studied in 33 patients with coronary heart diseases and ventricular arrhythmias in the acute drug test. The parenteral formulation of the drug (0.04-0.

The sympathetic-adrenal and kallikrein-kinin systems were studied in 225 patients with various coronary heart diseases before and after therapy with lipoic acid (150 mg/day), tocopherol (100 mg/day), anaprilin (40 mg/day), prodectin (750 mg/day) or their combination. Myocardial and adrenal catecholamine levels were measured in experiments on animals exposed to emotional pain stress. Their levels were found to be affected by lipoic acid, tocopherol, obsidan or their combinations in the same doses, taking into account species specificity.

The myocardial contractile function and microcirculation were studied in 39 patients with angina of effort, III-IV FC before and after plasmosorption course treatment in the presence of drug therapy. A positive clinical effect was recorded in 86% of cases that resulted in disappearance of anginal attacks, reduction of antianginal drug therapy in the presence of improved central hemodynamics and increased myocardial contractility and microcirculation.

An analysis of complications registered after 15382 epidural anesthesias and 20035 combined general anesthesias with artificial ventilations of lungs under conditions of a city multitype hospital was made. General amount of complications during epidural anesthesia was 4.43%, during endotracheal narcosis--5.

Plasma sorption was performed in patients with Functional Classes III-IV angina pectoris by using the sorbent FAS. A positive clinical effect was achieved in 81%. There was a significant reduction in the levels of total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol.

A study was made of changes in the content of natural antibodies (N-AB) to thrombin and alpha 2-macroglobulin in patients with angina pectoris under the influence of plasma perfusion. The content of N-AB being increased, plasma perfusion makes it possible to reduce their content to normal. Provided the content of N-AB is initially normal, plasma perfusion does not produce any changes in their level.

The article analyses the experience of the use of 14,634 epidural anesthesia procedures in a city multi-profile hospital. The authors express their ideas on the use of epidural anesthesia with opiates and local analgesics as one of the anesthetic techniques in the operative and postoperative periods. All the complications and adverse events of epidural anesthesia are thoroughly analysed, with the number indicated somewhat lower than in other articles by Soviet authors.

The disinfectant units dA-2 and dA-3 manufactured today on an industrial scale are not enough because of ultimate load of the chassis of the motor car. A new one-compartmental movable disinfectant dA-4 unit mounted on the chassis of the motor car gA3-53-12 with high technical performance is characterized by the improved layout of the equipment and can be run in the foci of infection at any time of the year. The dA-4 unit has been approved for manufacture in series.

The kinetic parameters of p-aminohippurate transport and activity of the alkaline phosphatase were studied using brush-border membrane vesicles isolated from the kidney cortex of normal and mutant (strain of Campbell) rats. p-Aminohippurate (PAH) transport of both normal and mutant animals was carried out by the mechanism of facilitated diffusion. The apparent Michaelis constant at 36 degrees C was equal to 7 mM, the maximal rate of PAH transport was 15 nmol/min per mg protein and the constant of inhibition by probenecid was 0.

Central hemodynamics parameters were measured in eight men, aged 45 to 55 years, with boundary arterial hypertension using a Soviet-made instrument and a dye (wofaverdin). Measurements were taken before "dry" immersion, 24 and 120 hours after the onset of "dry" immersion, and during recovery. Individual variations in the parameters of central hemodynamics to "dry" immersion were detected.
