N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminidase (NAG) activity, the concentrations of microalbumin (MA) and B2-microglobulin (B2-MG) were measured in urine of 50 healthy subjects and 200 patients suffering from arterial hypertension (AH) with preserved renal function, including patients with essential hypertension (EH), stages I and II, chronic pyelonephritis (CPN), chronic glomerulonephritis (CGN) and vasorenal hypertension (VRH). The healthy subjects, the patients with stage II EH, and those with secondary forms of AH demonstrated significant differences in NAG activity in urine. A positive correlation (r = +0.

The examinations were made before and after 30 weeks of exercise. Before such a course of exercise the response of the cardiovascular system and of the kinin-kallikrein system (KKS) to exercise was characterized by a significant rise of systolic, diastolic medium-hemodynamic arterial pressure, heart rate and kallikrein excretion with urine together with the lack changes in PK and KLA of blood plasma.

Changes in systemic hemodynamics and plasma catecholamine levels during and 4 min after the end of bicycle and isometric leg exercise were studied in 12 hypertensive patients. Dynamic exercise increased heart rate more and blood pressure less than isometric exercise; plasma norepinephrine (NE) level rose by 109%. Isometric exercise increased NE level only by 18%, but maximal changes (46%) occurred during recovery, probably reflecting a washout of NE from active muscles after the end of isometric contractions.

The strains were isolated from the blood of patients with sepsis, from the purulent foci on the skin and in the subcutaneous fat, from the nasopharyngeal mucosa of patients with tonsillitis and inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, from the sputum of patients with the pneumonia signs and from the pus of patients with otitis.

The main properties of 370 staphylococcal strains isolated from the blood, pus, sputum and the throat washings of patients were studied, and the identification of these strains was carried out. The level of cell-bound protein A in the strains was determined in the hemagglutination test with erythrocytes sensitized with hemolytic serum. Out of 269 S.

The content of NAD which is the least in the liver of the 8-day embryos increases with development of chickens and reaches the maximum level by the 6-month age. The content of DNA is maximum in the embryonal period.
