Maryland's cooling-water intake and discharge regulations, the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 26.08.03, stem from Sections 316(a) and (b) of the Clean Water Act (CWA).

The INOVOJECT machines configured for the Jamesway and Chickmaster commercial hatchers both maintained the integrity of the HVT vaccine without an appreciable loss in titer from the diluted vaccine to the egg.

The functional molecular mass for the oxidase activity was found to be 26,700 Da for skunk cabbage and 29,700 Da for Sauromatum guttatum mitochondria frozen at -70 degrees C. Irradiation of dried mitochondrial samples resulted in a larger target size of 38,000 Da, and in some cases, a stimulation of activity at low dose of radiation.

First, sensitive and resistant components often show. Second, there is often a shouldered character to the survival.

Samples of hen brain were prepared by slowly drying a microsomal preparation under vacuum. The dried samples were then irradiated with electrons from a 1 MeV Van de Graaff generator.

In the United States, motor vehicle accidents are the number one killer of children under 5 years of age, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Repeated studies show that correct, consistent use of child restraint systems is a proven method of preventing many unnecessary deaths. Yet current data from NHTSA's National Accident Sampling Survey show that only 35 percent of infants under 1 year of age, and only 25 percent of toddlers between 1 and 4, are protected by child restraints when they ride in cars.
