In December 2019 the World Health Organization (WHO) recorded the first cases of an infectious disease that appeared in China in November of the same year. Generated by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV2, it is quickly named COVID-19 for COronaVirus Infectious Disease 2019. The spread of this unknown disease will soon have worldwide consequences: the contagiousness of the virus is extremely high and potentially lethal.

Cognitive complaints were assessed using the Scale to Investigate Cognition in Schizophrenia (SSTICS) in persons with schizophrenia requesting disability status. A higher level of SPCD was associated with better occupational outcome, independently from other characteristics.

Methods: Persons with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder (N=110) requesting a disability allowance or the status of disabled worker for the first time were assessed by using a standardized questionnaire that collected information on clinical, occupational, and income history. Characteristics associated with a long duration were explored by using multivariate analyses.
