VNESS is a novel system for describing surgical findings in each compartment of the pelvis in a way that is simple to use, visually intuitive and mirrors a laparoscopic image of the pelvis.

In this paper, the local bonding structure in amorphous zinc tin oxide (a-ZTO) is probed using a combination of XANES and EXAFS techniques at the Zn and Sn K-edges to gain insight into charge carrier generation in the material. a-ZTO is prepared using two growth methods; spray pyrolysis and magnetron sputtering. It is seen that a-ZTO grown by magnetron sputtering shows no changes in the chemical environment as the cation ratio is varied; meanwhile, XANES analysis of spray pyrolysis grown samples shows alterations to spectra likely due to the effects caused by different precursors.

Objectives: This study focuses on the perioperative outcomes of a single surgeon using the same structured approach (SOSURE: Survey & Sigmoid mobilisation, Ovarian mobilisation, Suspension of uterus and ovaries, Ureterolysis, Rectovaginal and pararectal space development, Excision of all visible disease) and adheres to the recent standardised terminology proposed by international gynaecological and endometriosis societies.
Materials And Methods: A quality improvement study was conducted retrospectively from January 2015 to January 2023.
Objectives: To evaluate whether embryo transfers at blastocyst stage improve the cumulative live birth rate after oocyte retrieval, including both fresh and frozen-thawed transfers, and whether the risk of obstetric and perinatal complications is increased compared with cleavage stage embryo transfers during in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment.
Design: Multicentre randomised controlled trial.
Setting: 21 hospitals and clinics in the Netherlands, 18 August 2018 to 17 December 2021.

Background: Girls with Turner syndrome (TS) lack a partial or complete sex chromosome, which causes an accelerated decline of their ovarian reserve. Girls have to deal with several dilemmas related to their fertility, while only a limited number of them are referred to a fertility specialist and counselled about options of family planning on time.
Objective And Rationale: This scoping review provides an update of the literature on fertility in girls with TS throughout their lifespan and aims to propose a clinical practice guideline on fertility in TS.
Tropical forest root characteristics and resource acquisition strategies are underrepresented in vegetation and global models, hampering the prediction of forest-climate feedbacks for these carbon-rich ecosystems. Lowland tropical forests often have globally unique combinations of high taxonomic and functional biodiversity, rainfall seasonality, and strongly weathered infertile soils, giving rise to distinct patterns in root traits and functions compared with higher latitude ecosystems. We provide a roadmap for integrating recent advances in our understanding of tropical forest belowground function into vegetation models, focusing on water and nutrient acquisition.

The films exhibited excellent electrical performance, with measurable mobility and high carrier concentration. The conductivity of the films varied between 115 and 1079 Scm while the optical transparency of the films ranged from 32 to 65% in the visible region.

However, existing stylization techniques are limited to edge treatments based on brush strokes or textures applied solely on top of curves. Summary Answer: Less than half of over-the-counter antioxidant supplements for male fertility patients have been tested in a clinical trial, and the available clinical trials are generally of poor quality.
What Is Known Already: The prevalence of male infertility is rising and, with this, the market for supplements claiming to improve male fertility is expanding. Up to now, there is limited data on the evidence for these over-the-counter supplements.

In situ application of noninvasive Macro X-Ray Fluorescence Imaging Spectroscopy (MA-XRF) to unrolled papyri from Herculaneum, dating from about 200 BC to the 1st century AD, has provided the first direct evidence of such practice in ancient book production. The key experimental proof of periodic lines drawn in lead was gathered by a highly sensitive MA-XRF mobile instrument, which allowed detection of ultra-low trace residues of metals with detection limits that rival synchrotron light instruments.

Background: The use of Indocyanine Green (ICG) is well-described in oncology and more recently in benign gynaecological surgery. In this article we describe submucosal transvaginal ICG infiltration caudal to a vaginal endometriotic nodule to visualise the lower margin of excision laparoscopically.
Objectives: To demonstrates the use of submucosal ICG tattooing to mark and delineate the caudal margin of an ultra-low full thickness vaginal nodule and aid its excision laparoscopically.
This presentation attempts to show the healing potential underlying the inclusion of the patient's body in the analytic process, while honouring and revisiting the understanding of the psyche-body connection described by Jung in his early work. In addition, the author offers reflections on the impact of collective trauma whose aftermath, among others, has been the disappearance of thousands of people, consequently breaking the family genealogy, leaving hundreds of children stripped of their roots and true identity. Referencing clinical material, the author describes how the process of translation and integration-from the sensory-perceptual to the conceptual-symbolic-can be halted on account of collective trauma occurring at an early stage in development.
