Purpose: Light transmission through different all-ceramic veneers when irradiated by 3 types of light-polymerization units was measured to evaluate the degree of polymerization. Material and methods The power outputs from a conventional halogen (3M Unitek), a plasma arc (Apollo 95E), and a high-intensity halogen (Kreativ Kuring Light Model 2000) light were measured by a radiometer.

A new removable implant analog.

A new implant analog system that improves the efficiency of the implant restoration's fabrication process is described. This 2-piece analog contains an outer plastic sleeve that is retained within the stone cast. The inner portion, a metal analog, can be easily removed and replaced within the plastic sleeve.
