Inflammation and oxidative stress are related to cancer initiation and progression. We hypothesized that dietary supplementation with a procyanidin-rich Pinus pinaster extract (Pyc) with known antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects could induce systemic protection, thereby attenuating tumor development.
