In neoplastic disorders, bone marrow adipocytes (BMAds) contribute to create a favorable microenvironment to survival and proliferation of cancer cells. Many studies explored the molecular crosstalk between BMAds and neoplastic cells, predominantly in experimental systems or in animal models.
