Meniscus tears are among the common knee injuries in sports, with arthroscopic meniscectomy being one of the most commonly performed orthopedic procedures. Return to sports of the same level following arthroscopic meniscectomy is an important aspect for athletes. Numerous factors may influence the time required for athletes to resume sports activities after meniscectomy.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAnterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears are a prevalent and debilitating injury among athletes, often accompanied by concurrent meniscal and chondral injuries. This study aimed to present a comprehensive investigation into the patterns and prevalence of meniscal and chondral injuries in athletes with ACL tears. This is a cross-sectional study conducted on 600 athletic patients with ACL tears planned for reconstruction in a duration of five years.
