Health Information Disorders Models: A Scoping Review.

Background: The purpose of this scoping review is to identify the models of Health Information Disorders (HIDs), the components of these models, their study setting, and their designing approaches.

Materials And Methods: In this study, PubMed, Web Of Science (WOS), Scopus, ProQuest, and Embase databases were searched to identify relevant articles. After screening the identified studies, 22 studies were selected.

Designing a Framework for Evaluating the Scientific Productions.

Background: Evaluation of scientific productions to attract, maintain, and promote faculty members is one of the necessary processes of academic societies and is of interest to policy makers in the field of higher education. This study aimed to provide a uniform and native framework for evaluating the scientific productions of researchers in the fields of science and health in Iran.

Methods: The current research used the single-stage fuzzy Delphi technique and AHP.

Retrieving Rare Cases: A Protocol for Searching Complex Medical Cases.

This study sought to provide a protocol for searching complex medical cases of grand rounds. A clinical informationist was embedded in gastroenterology grand rounds to use comprehensive search strategies and summarize patients' information through concept mapping. Our proposed protocol classifies into three categories: (1) The general search strategy, (2) The protocol for searching for evidence about rare diseases, and (3) Identifying other resources more than routine medical databases.

COVID-19 and Innovation in Medical Library Services: A Scoping Review of Case Studies.

The services of medical libraries and information centers has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify the innovative services of medical libraries and information centers during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this scoping review, PubMed, Web of Science (WOS), Scopus, ProQuest, Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) databases were searched to identify case studies and case series.

Patient education information material assessment criteria: A scoping review.

Background: Patient education information material (PEIM) is an essential component of patient education programs in increasing patients' ability to cope with their diseases. Therefore, it is essential to consider the criteria that will be used to prepare and evaluate these resources.

Objective: This paper aims to identify these criteria and recognize the tools or methods used to evaluate them.

Mobile health applications for pregnancy in Iran: Current state investigation.

Background: The expansion of pregnancy-related mobile applications has led to an increase in the usage of these applications by Iranian women, which has the potential to have a long-term impact on women's pregnancy health and, as a result, community health. The goal of this research was to investigate the state of pregnancy-related mobile applications in Iran.

Materials And Methods: This was a descriptive-applied research approach which was conducted in 2020.

Clinical informationist participation in grand round sessions of gastroenterology department: An action research study.

Background: Nowadays, providing access to the required information by clinical informationist (CI) is vital for clinical teams to make the best decision. This study was carried out to identifying how CIs should participate in grand round (GR).

Objectives: Access to high-quality information improves the quality of patient care, but lack of time and sufficient skills in information seeking can prevent access to information by clinicians. To solve this problem, clinical informationists can provide high-quality, filtered information for clinical team members. This study identified the core competencies that clinical informationists need to effectively fulfill their roles on clinical teams.

Clinical informationist educational needs and goals: A scoping review.

Clinical informationist (CI) is one of the current trends in the field of medical librarianship and information science. CIs are members of clinical care teams, and their main duty is to fill the gap in the information needs of health-care workers and patients using information sources. They need an official and standard education.

The educational role of clinical informationist on improving clinical education among medical students: Based on Kirkpatrick model.

Introduction: Due to time constraints and a significant increase in medical information, one of the ways to keep physicians and medical teams up to date is to use evidence-based medicine. The current research focused on the effects of the educational role of clinical informationist (CI) on improving clinical education among medical students based on the Kirkpatrick (KP) model.

Mustard gas exposure in Iran-Iraq war - A scientometric study.

Background: The Iranian victims of sulfur mustard attack are now more than 20 years post-exposure and form a valuable cohort for studying the chronic effects of an exposure to sulfur mustard. Articles on sulfur mustard exposure in Iran-Iraq war were reviewed using three known international databases such as Scopus, Medline, and ISI. The objectives of the study were measurement of the author-wise distribution, year-wise distribution, subject area wise, and assessment of highly cited articles.

Background: Knowledge of correct information-seeking behavior by the patients can provide health specialists and health information specialists with valuable information in improving health care. This study aimed to investigate the passive receipt and active seeking of health information by diabetic patients.

Materials And Methods: A survey method was used in this research on 6426 diabetic patients of whom 362 patients were selected by a no percentage stratified random sampling.

Comparison of Iranian National Medical Library with digital libraries of selected countries.
