Exhaled breath electrochemical sensing is a promising biomedical technology owing to its portability, painlessness, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendliness. Here, we present a novel approach for target analysis in exhaled breath by integrating a comfortable paper-based collector into an N95 face mask, providing a universal solution for analyzing several biomarkers. As a model analyte, we detected SARS-CoV-2 spike protein from the exhaled breath by sampling the target analyte into the collector, followed by its detection out of the N95 face mask using a magnetic bead-based electrochemical immunosensor.

The production of ϒ(2S) and ϒ(3S) mesons in lead-lead (Pb-Pb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions is studied in their dimuon decay channel using the CMS detector at the LHC. We report here an experimental-computational study of hydrated TiO anatase nanoparticles interacting with glycine, where we obtain quantitative agreement of the measured adsorption free energies. Ab initio simulations are performed within the tight binding and density functional theory in combination with enhanced free-energy sampling techniques, which exploit the thermodynamic integration of the unbiased mean forces collected on-the-fly along the molecular dynamics trajectories. The experiments adopt a new and efficient setup for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements based on portable screen-printed gold electrodes, which allows fast and in situ signal assessment.

Background: Osteosarcoma (OS) is a prevalent primary bone cancer affecting both humans and canines. This study describes initial insights into the interaction of the human monoclonal antibody IF3 to an insulin-like growth factor 2 receptor (IGF2R) radiolabeled with either alpha-emitting Actinium-225 (Ac) or beta-emitting Lutetium-177 (Lu) radionuclides with the OS cells and tumor microenvironment (TME) in experimental human and canine OS.
