Arthrodesis of the first metatarsal phalangeal joint (MTPJ) is a widely utilized surgical procedure for a wide array of metatarsal pathologies. This study aims to explore the functional limitations following first MTPJ arthrodesis, overall satisfaction and patient's abilities to achieve activities of daily living (ADL). This prospective cohort study assessed functional limitations as well as footwear and lifestyle restrictions using several questionnaires.
