Objective: To evaluate health-related quality of life (HRQoL), in relation to support from work, social, as well as treatment satisfaction, in women with multiple sclerosis (MS). Further, to predict the satisfaction on these support dimensions based on sociodemographic and clinical variables.
Design: Cross-sectional survey: a web-based questionnaire conducted in 2021 of people with MS (PwMS) linked to Nationwide Swedish registers.

Background: Work ability index (WAI) is an instrument that measures work ability in workplace surveys and health examinations in occupational health and research. It has been used in different population groups. But research is limited among people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS).

As a representative case, the adsorption of CO on the lowest index non-polar and most stable facet of CeO2, that is, (111) was studied. The CO harmonic vibrational frequencies were not scaled semiempirically but explicitly corrected for anharmonic effects, which amount to about 25 cm-1 with all tested methods.

Indeed, sub-optimal care transitions are associated with increased mortality, morbidity and adverse events.Improving communication through timely and accurate clinical information transfer has been identified as a key component of optimal care transitions.

Context: Reiki is a biofield therapy from Japan currently used in many US hospitals. Evidence supports Reiki's effectiveness for addressing cancer and treatment-related symptoms such as pain and anxiety. However, no study to date has assessed changes in nausea following Reiki received during infusion treatments or assessed patients from multiple healthcare locations.

Current diagnostic pathways recommend an initial assessment with computed tomography (CT) imaging to delineate potentially malignant thymic lesions.

Introduction: Training of interdisciplinary clinical reasoning and decision-making skills, essential in daily clinical practice in oncological specialties, are still underrepresented in medical education. Therefore, at LMU University Hospital Munich, we implemented a didactically modified tumor board simulation with experts from five different disciplines (medical oncology, pathology, radiation oncology, radiology, and surgery) presenting patient cases into a one-week course on the basic principles of oncology. In this survey, we examined the self-assessed impact of our course on the interdisciplinary decision-making skills of medical students.

We find a cuboctahedral platinum cage with bridge bound hydrogen atoms. This unusual structure is stabilized by Pt-H-Pt multicenter bonds and shows characteristics of spherical aromaticity.

This study aimed to evaluate the oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) of refugees, with the intention of highlighting a potential need for improved education and easier access to dental care.
Materials And Methods: A questionnaire based on the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14) was distributed via hyperlink on social media, targeting individuals with a refugee background to collect data on their OHRQoL.
Understanding the role of B cells in tuberculosis (TB) is crucial for developing new TB vaccines. However, the changes in B cell immune landscapes during TB and their functional implications remain incompletely explored. Using high-dimensional flow cytometry to map the immune landscape in response to Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infection, our results show an accumulation of marginal zone B (MZB) cells and other unconventional B cell subsets in the lungs and spleen, shaping an unconventional B cell landscape.

These complex reactions produce byproducts in the solid, liquid, and gas phases. Studying byproducts in these three phases can help optimize battery lifetimes.

Methods: This retrospective study included neonates of gestational age ≥36 weeks with a diagnosis of HIE and undergoing TH between January 2014 and December 2021. Patients were included if they received at least 6 hours of continuous sedation with dexmedetomidine.
Adenosine Deaminases Acting on RNA (ADARs) are enzymes that catalyze the conversion of adenosine to inosine in RNA duplexes. These enzymes can be harnessed to correct disease-causing G-to-A mutations in the transcriptome because inosine is translated as guanosine. Guide RNAs (gRNAs) can be used to direct the ADAR reaction to specific sites.

Methods: In this register-based multi-centre retrospective cohort study of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients in Sweden, 2745 patients from six participating Swedish MS centres were identified via the Swedish MS registry and included between 14 March 2008 and 25 January 2021. The exposure was treatment with at least one dose of rituximab for MS or clinically isolated syndrome, including data on treatment duration and doses.
Aim: Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is a major health concern in Western societies. Poor outcome after OHCA is determined by the extent of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Dysregulation of iron metabolism has prognostic relevance in patients with ischemic stroke and sepsis.

Methods: In this multicenter retrospective cohort study, patients with pediatric-onset multiple sclerosis from Sweden, Austria and Germany, who received RTX treatment were identified by chart review.
Background And Purpose: Pediatric-onset multiple sclerosis (PoMS) is associated with high health care use. To plan resource allocation for this patient group, knowledge of the incidence rate and prevalence is important. However, such studies are scarce, few are population-based, and the methodology varies widely.
