Although therapies based on mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) are being implemented in clinical settings, many aspects regarding these procedures require further optimization. Domestic dogs suffer from numerous immune-mediated diseases similar to those found in humans. This study aimed to assess the immunomodulatory activity of canine (c) Wharton jelly (WJ)-derived MSCs and refer them to human (h) MSCs isolated from the same tissue.

The aim of the study is to verify the effectiveness of emergency double-level cerclage with vaginal progesterone in cervical insufficiency treatment in terms of the prevention of preterm delivery before 34 weeks of gestation.
Methods And Analysis: This trial is a multicentre, non-blinded, randomised study with 1:1 allocation ratio.
Objectives: Comparison of the ability to inhibit alloactivated lymphocytes proliferation of human Wharton Jelly (WJ) and amniotic membrane (AM) mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from preterm and term pregnancies.
Material And Methods: Term-WJ-MSCs (n = 5) and Preterm-WJ-MSCs (n = 1) were obtained from tissue explants by adherent method. Term-AM-MSCs (n = 5) and Preterm-AM-MSCs (n = 1) were obtained by tripsin and collagenase digestion method.
Objectives: Delayed motherhood is associated with an increasing number of comorbidities such as glomerulonephritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and diabetic nephropathy. Women after renal transplant belong to the group of patients who require a highly individualized approach to treatment and diagnosis. The aim of the study was to validate the commonly used diagnostic criteria for preeclampsia which seem to be irrelevant in patients with chronic renal insufficiency.
