To evaluate the perioperative outcomes of robot-assisted cystectomy in previous pelvic irradiation patients. We performed a systematic review with a single-arm meta-analysis, searching the PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Cochrane databases through July 2024. Included studies reported perioperative outcomes of robot-assisted radical cystectomy in patients with prior pelvic irradiation.

Persimmons were harvested at the commercial maturity stage and treated with 70 % CO, 18 h, or 1.70 mL kg EtOH, 6 h.

An alternative is to employ fungal co-cultures to obtain more diverse and complete enzymatic cocktails without the need to mix enzymes during downstream processing. This study evaluated the co-cultivation of and RUT-C30 in different conditions using sugarcane bagasse as the carbon source.

Background: This systematic review evaluated the long-term clinical effectiveness of Biodentine in vital pulp therapy procedures.
Material And Methods: Two independent reviewers searched the PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane, LILACS, and DOSS databases for articles published until August 2023. Review Manager and GRADEpro software were used for the analysis, and the Revman5.
Our study helps to unravel the complexity of the Lomagundi-Jatuli event, the largest and longest positive carbon isotope excursion ever recorded on the Earth's surface, by providing a unique view of Paleoproterozoic graphitic rocks from the Borborema province of Northeastern Brazil. Through detailed mineralogical, textural, chemical and isotopic analyses, we bring a new perspective that provide support to elevated primary productivity and large-scale organic carbon burial during the Lomagundi-Jatuli event. Graphite crystals with distinctive textural features occur in association with silicate and oxidised manganese ores, manganese quartzites, garnetites, and gneisses.

Background And Purpose: Lateral decubitus CT myelography (LDCTM) is one of the main studies for the detection of CSF-venous fistulas (CVF), but detection of CVFs is dependent on intrathecal contrast density. The purpose of this investigation was to assess tolerability and technical performance of increased intrathecal doses of myelographic contrast compared to standard doses.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective series of 24 patients who underwent LDCTM following administration of either 10 or 20 ml of intrathecal iodinated contrast media (300 or 320mg/mL iodine content).
Chronic total occlusion (CTO) percutaneous coronary intervention is a complex procedure and is associated with considerable risk of complications. Several success and complication scores have been developed; however, data regarding their external validation in other populations such as Latin America are scarce. This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of the main predictors of success and complications in a broad cohort of procedures in the Latin American (LATAM) CTO registry.

This study is relevant due to the rarity of the tomographic pattern and the patient's clinical presentation. There is no treatment guideline for this comorbidity, which further increases the importance of publishing case reports in the literature.

Purpose: Our objective was to investigate the prevalence of C. acnes in samples of intervertebral disc of patients with lumbar disc herniation; to investigate prognostic factors and the relationship of Modic changes with infection 1 year after microdiscectomy.
Cotton is an important plant-based protein. Cottonseed cake, a byproduct of the biodiesel industry, offers potential in animal supplementation, although the presence of the antinutritional sesquiterpenoid gossypol limits utilization. The macrofungus offers potential in detoxification of antinutritional factors.

This paper explores the applicability of such methods in investigating critical phenomena and the crossover to tricritical points within the Blume-Capel model. Through an analysis of eigenvalue mean, dispersion, and extrema statistics, we demonstrate the efficacy of these spectral techniques in characterizing critical points in both two and three dimensions.

This study focuses on the medicinal properties of plants from the Phyllanthus genus, specifically Phyllanthus amarus and Phyllanthus niruri, which have shown promise in traditional medicine. Through bioguided fractionation using preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), bioactive compounds were isolated and identified using ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled to time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC-QTOF-MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.

One key trigger for reflective processing is stimulus complexity. Moreover, if meaning can be derived from such complexity, then this can engender increased and elevated liking.

Claw horn lesions have been identified as a major cause of lameness in dairy cows, but their correlation with high-energy diets and ruminal acidosis remains unclear. Hence, the primary objective of this study was to assess the effects of a high-starch diet and a conventional diet on the rumen environment, acute-phase proteins, and metabolic alterations, with a particular focus on insulin resistance and the consequent implications for the histology of the hooves in Holstein steers.

Objective: To assess the anesthetic efficacy of articaine with the needle-free/Comfort-in™ method compared to the conventional needle method. To assess pain during anesthesia application, onset of anesthesia and patient`s self-reported quality of life-related to oral health after the dental emergency appointment.
Materials And Methods: This parallel, randomized clinical trial was conducted by a single operator/dentist in the state of Maranhao, northeast of Brazil.
Background: Guide catheter extensions (GCEs) increase support and facilitate equipment delivery, but aggressive instrumentation may be associated with a higher risk of complications.
Aim: Our aim was to assess the impact of GCEs on procedural success and complications in patients submitted to chronic total occlusion (CTO) percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Methods: We analyzed data from the multicenter LATAM CTO Registry.
This study aimed to assess the growth of Pseudomonas spp. and psychrotrophic bacteria in chilled Pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus), a native South American fish, stored under chilling conditions (0 to 10 °C) through the use of predictive models under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions. Growth kinetic parameters, maximum growth rate (μ 1/h), lag time (t h), and (N Log CFU/g) were estimated using the Baranyi and Roberts microbial growth model.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA novel multimodal experimental setup and dyadic study protocol were designed to investigate the neurophysiological underpinnings of joint action through the synchronous acquisition of EEG, ECG, EMG, respiration and kinematic data from two individuals engaged in ecologic and naturalistic cooperative and competitive joint actions involving face-to-face real-time and real-space coordinated full body movements. Such studies are still missing because of difficulties encountered in recording reliable neurophysiological signals during gross body movements, in synchronizing multiple devices, and in defining suitable study protocols. The multimodal experimental setup includes the synchronous recording of EEG, ECG, EMG, respiration and kinematic signals of both individuals via two EEG amplifiers and a motion capture system that are synchronized via a single-board microcomputer and custom Python scripts.
