Background: Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is an uncommon neoplasm. MPM occurs more frequently in patients born or living in certain villages of Turkey.
Objectives: We aimed to review radiological findings of MPM.
The purpose of this study was to compare nasal volume changes using acoustic rhinometry (AR) and computed tomography (CT). The subjects were 10 children (6 girls and 4 boys, with an age range of 12-14 years) who required rapid maxillary expansion (RME) on the basis of their individual malocclusion. All patients were found to have normal nasal cavities following anterior rhinoscopic examination.

Methods: A total of 11 male and eight female patients underwent assessment with computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The patients ranged from 1 to 17 years in age.
Purpose: We have compared the sensitivities of MRI, US and radiography which are some of the radiologic modalities used in the early diagnosis of acute osteomyelitis.
Materials And Methods: After 1 week care and research on 20 New Zealand rabbits (average weight: 2.5 kg) in animal laboratory, study was begun.
We report a life-threatening spontaneous renal laceration with no history of bleeding diathesis or any trauma in a patient with FMF after acute hepatitis A virus (HAV) infection. Right nephrectomy was inevitable and histological investigation of the removed right kidney revealed a polyarterits nodosa (PAN). This case underlines the possibility that simultaneous PAN and immunsupressive treatment besides colchicine should be considered for patients with FMF.

A one-day-old girl was admitted to our clinic with occipital encephalocele, polydactyly, ulnar deviation of left hand and failure to thrive. Patient's parents were first-degree relatives.

Materials And Methods: Between 1997 and 2001, 96 children with BAT were evaluated prospectively. CT was performed first, followed by US.
Epidermoid cysts are benign cysts localizing rarely in solid organs with an unclear pathogenesis. A 55 years old woman having an epidermoid cyst in the renal pelvis was evaluated according to the literature.

Although many ruptured hydatid cysts of a primary organ have been reported, there is only one case of peritoneal hydatid cyst rupture in the literature. In this case report we present a 25 year-old male patient, who had been operated for hydatid cyst of the liver four years ago and had pelvic hydatid cyst rupture due to blunt abdominal trauma.

The femoral torsion angles were measured on both sides. If the torsion angle of the fractured side was more than the other side, it was considered as an internal rotational deformity and if it was less, it was considered as an external rotational deformity.

It has been reported that the use of these fuels causes hazardous effects on the lungs. In this study, we evaluated the pulmonary changes due to the use of biomass fuels in a female population that lives in our territory by high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT).

The transverse (x), sagittal (y) and anteroposterior (z) lengths of the right and left lobes and isthmus were measured. Volumes of these were calculated by the ellipsoid volume formula [V = (pi/6) x x x y x z].
