We examined regulation of SERCA in porcine ASM: our hypothesis was that the regulatory protein phospholamban (PLN) and the calmodulin (CaM)-CaM kinase (CaMKII) pathway (both of which are known to regulate SERCA in cardiac muscle) play a role.
