[Evaluation of psychological disorders in Tunisian patients with inflammatory bowel disease. A comparative case-control study].

Aim: To evaluate the psychological state in Tunisian patients with inflammatory bowel disease using the general health questionnaire in 12 items.

Methods: A prospective case-control study was performed, including 60 cases of Crohn's disease. 60 cases of ulcerative colitis and 60 healthy control subjects.

[Microscopic colitis. A 20 cases series].

Microscopic colitis are defined as a chronic inflammation of a normal macroscopic colonic mucosa. We report 20 cases of microscopic colitis. Chronic diarrhea revealed the diagnosis in 95% of cases.

[A gastroenterology unit experience with adjuvant chemotherapy for non-metastatic colon cancer: results from 24 cases].

A prospective study was carried from January 1996 to December 2000 including patients that received adjuvant chemotherapy type FUFOL for colon carcinoma after curative surgery. Chemotherapy was recommended for all stage Dukes B2 end C. Adjuvant chemotherapy was administered to 24 patients (13 men and 11 women, mean age 56.
