Background: Parental complaints about feeding difficulties (FD) during childhood are frequent in pediatrics. Behavioral factors about children's feeding and parental aspects are fundamental in solving these problems, but research in this area lacks information considering the joint presence of fathers and mothers. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the features of children, parents and mealtime practices related to FD reported by fathers and mothers and to identify parenting styles, mealtime actions, practices and factors associated with FD in children.

The main barrier to HIV cure is a persistent reservoir of latently infected CD4 T cells harboring replication-competent provirus that fuels rebound viremia upon antiretroviral therapy (ART) interruption. A leading approach to target this reservoir involves agents that reactivate latent HIV proviruses followed by direct clearance of cells expressing induced viral antigens by immune effector cells and immunotherapeutics. We previously showed that AZD5582, an antagonist of inhibitor of apoptosis proteins and mimetic of the second mitochondrial-derived activator of caspases (IAPi/SMACm), induces systemic reversal of HIV/SIV latency but with no reduction in size of the viral reservoir.

Living with diabetes can be overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting, even in settings of resource availability and health care access, while the psychosocial burden of living with diabetes and CVD can be exacerbated by an increased burden of social determinants of health in low-resource settings. Diabetes and CVD care heavily rely on self-management, and health care professionals are now recognizing the importance of peer support in supporting healthy behaviors, psychosocial well-being, and improved clinical outcomes.
