The aim of this research was to study changes in the microbial populations, free AA profile, biogenic amine content, and sensory characteristics of ripened cheeses (100 and 180 d) produced in different seasons (summer, autumn, winter, and spring) from pasteurized sheep milk from 8 commercial flocks fed hay or silage diets. Twenty-one individual AA and 6 biogenic amines were determined by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography. Type of conserved forage for sheep feeding did not affect the variables studied, which is of great interest because hay and silage are low-cost ingredients for sheep feeding.

Dendritic cells (DCs) promote T-cell mediated tolerance to self-antigens and induce inflammation to innocuous-antigens. This dual potential makes DCs fundamental players in inflammatory disorders. Evidence from inflammatory colitis mouse models and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) patients indicated that gut inflammation in IBD is driven mainly by T-helper-1 (Th1) and Th17 cells, suggesting an essential role for DCs in the development of IBD.

Here, we assess whether transcriptomic interactions between tumor immune content score (ICS) and the Decipher genomic classifier can identify most lethal subsets of GG-45 PCa. To elucidate the effects of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC), we conduct whole transcriptome profiling coupled with histopathology analyses of a longitudinal breast cancer cohort of 146 patients including 110 pairs of serial tumor biopsies collected before treatment, after the first cycle of treatment and at the time of surgery. Here, we show that cytotoxic chemotherapies induce dynamic changes in the tumor immune microenvironment that vary by subtype and pathologic response. Just one cycle of treatment induces an immune stimulatory microenvironment harboring more tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and up-regulation of inflammatory signatures predictive of response to anti-PD1 therapies while residual tumors are immune suppressed at end-of-treatment compared to the baseline.

This work presents the design and characterization of a resonant CMOS-MEMS pressure sensor manufactured in a standard 180 nm CMOS industry-compatible technology. The device consists of aluminum square plates attached together by means of tungsten vias integrated into the back end of line (BEOL) of the CMOS process. Three prototypes were designed and the structural characteristics were varied, particularly mass and thickness, which are directly related to the resonance frequency, quality factor, and pressure; while the same geometry at the frontal level, as well as the air gap, were maintained to allow structural comparative analysis of the structures.
