- Fifteen competitive triathletes participated in a maximal oxygen-uptake test on a cycle ergometer, where various parameters including oxygen levels and ventilation were measured.
- Results showed a strong correlation between the RCP determined by conventional methods and those from NIRS, indicating that NIRS could effectively assess RCP in elite athletes.
