Fabrication and performance of novel multifunctional sodium alginate/polyvinylpyrrolidone hydrogels.

In this work, a novel alginate/polyvinylpyrrolidone (SA/PVP-Fe) hydrogel spheres were prepared by cross-linking with Fe ions after blending sodium alginate with polyvinylpyrrolidone.
