Correlation Analysis of Huayu Tongmai Decoction Intervention and Prognosis Indexes of Patients with Carotid Atherosclerosis.

Background: Carotid atherosclerosis (CAS) is a common disease which seriously threatens the health of senile patients. The studies have indicated that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) may effectively improve the symptom of CAS, while the therapeutic effect of Huayu Tongmai decoction on CAS remains unclear. Thus, this study aimed to explore the correlation between traditional Chinese medicine Huayu Tongmai decoction intervention and prognosis indexes of patients with CAS.
