Histone deacetylases (HDACs) play important roles in the repression of gene expression. Our previous study revealed that HISTONE DEACETYLASE 9 (HDA9) interacts with ELONGATED HYPOCOTYL 5 (HY5) and is involved in regulating plant autophagy in response to the light-to-dark transition and nitrogen starvation. Bisphenol A (BPA) accumulates in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), and hemodialysis filters may contribute to bisphenol burden in patients on hemodialysis (HD). The serum levels of BPA and three BPA analogs, namely, bisphenol B (BPB), bisphenol S (BPS), and bisphenol F (BPF), in 58 patients with CKD, 66 patients on dialysis therapy and 30 healthy control were investigated. Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare hematopoietic malignancy with almost invariably cutaneous involvement and poor prognosis. Mycosis fungoides is the most common entity among all cutaneous T cell lymphomas. Herein, we report for the first time a case of mycosis fungoides in a 51-year-old man with aggressive clinical course and confirmed C-MYC/8q24 translocation. Review of the literature reveals that dermal Ki-67 proliferation index not only correlates with the type and extent of skin involvement and clinical stage, but is also an independent adverse prognostic factor.

We investigated the effects of intravenously administered bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) on renal interstitial inflammation and fibrosis. In unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) rats, the CD4(+)CD25(+) regulatory T-cell (Treg) cell, macrophage population and some inflammation related cytokines were tested. In the BMSCs -treated rats, renal exhibited lower renal Masson scores, decreased macrophage infiltration and interferon gamma (IFNγ) expression, and increased forkhead transcription factor (Foxp3) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) expression.
