Quantification of Agility Testing with Inertial Sensors after a Knee Injury.

Introduction: A common criterion in decision making regarding return to sport (RTS) after knee ligament injury is that athletes should achieve symmetrical bilateral movement between the injured limb and the noninjured limb. Body-worn wireless inertial measurement units (IMU) can provide clinicians with valuable information about lower-limb kinematics and athletic performance.

Methods: The IMU-based novel kinematic metrics were developed.

[Immunohistochemical detection of triiodothyronine in thyroid tumors using T3-01 monoclonal antibody].

Cells of the spleen of BALB/c mice immunized with a conjugate of triiodothyronine and bovine immunoglobulin were fused with cells of the murine myeloma line F O. Selection and cloning were used to look up the T3-01 hybridoma producing a monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 subclass which responded in a radioimmunoassay specifically to triiodothyronine. The T3-01 monoclonal antibody was used for the immunohistochemical demonstration of triiodothyronine on 19 tumour derivatives.

Internalization of triiodothyronine-bovine serum albumin-colloidal gold complexes in human peripheral leukocytes.

Complexes of triiodothyronine-bovine serum albumin-colloidal gold were specifically internalized in human peripheral leukocytes after 5 min of incubation. The specificity was partially lost after a longer incubation.

Binding of (125I) triiodothyronine to human peripheral leukocytes and its internalization.

Ultrastructural autoradiography showed high specific binding of (125I) triiodothyronine, as confirmed by a competition test, to plasma membranes, nuclei and mitochondria of human peripheral leukocytes. A high level of binding was also noted on the granulocytes' granules, especially in eosinophils.

In the community of P., a formerly severely endemic area of the Klatovy region, 213 school children (100 boys and 113 girls) aged 7 to 13 years were examined after more than 20 years of iodisation of table salt. The size and type of goitre was examined, height and body weight and urinary iodine excretion were assessed.

Effect of beta-casomorphin and its analogue on serum prolactin in the rat.

The effects of exogenous opioid peptides beta-casomorphin Tyr-Pro-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro-Ile and its analogue Tyr-Pro-Gly-Pro-Phe-Pro-Ile (analogue I) were found to increase prolactin level in plasma after intraperitoneal injection. Analogue I was more potent. This effect of beta-casomorphin and analogue I were blocked by an opioid antagonist, naloxone.
