Although the prognosis in Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is generally good, protracted and incomplete courses of recovery can be a heavy burden. Article Synopsis
  • The study looked at two types of hypophysitis (a condition affecting the pituitary gland): one caused by immunotherapy (IIH) and one that happens without any treatment (PH).
  • It included 56 patients with IIH and 60 patients with PH, and researchers gathered lots of information about their symptoms and test results.
  • The results showed that IIH mainly affected men, caused different problems in hormone levels, and patients often didn't have symptoms, while PH had more autoimmune diseases related to it. *
