Objective: Previous studies have shown the anti-inflammatory effect of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) and the crucial roles of high-sensitive C reactive protein (hsCRP) and novel inflammatory markers (red blood cell distribution width-platelet count ratio (RDWPCR), mean platelet volume-platelet count ratio (MPVPCR), neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and white blood cell-neutrophil ratios (WBCNR)) in several diseases, but scarce data explored the associations of 25(OH)D with hsCRP and novel inflammatory markers. This study aimed to investigate these associations in children.
