These disorders have a multifactorial origin and can be associated with restrictive diets, negative feelings, harmful family relationships, and post-traumatic stress. Thus, this study's objective was to evaluate the association between indicators of eating disorders and family and school contexts in Brazilian adolescents who previously experienced sexual abuse and examine the findings based on sex.

Methods: 58S bioactive glass was synthetized using a sol-gel methodology, following by lyophilization and calcination, then mixed with phosphoric acid to obtain a paste (BGP). Forty-eight dentin disks (1 mm-thick) were used for dP, and 48 dentin slabs (3 mm × 3 mm) for dSL, which were assessed at three time intervals: post-EDTA (5 min in 17% EDTA solution); post-treatment (C: distilled water; BGP: experimental bioactive glass paste; NP: Nupro prophylaxis paste; CXT: Clinpro XT varnish); and post-erosive/abrasive cycling.
Advancing functional ecology depends fundamentally on the availability of data on reproductive traits, including those from tropical plants, which have been historically underrepresented in global trait databases. Although some valuable databases have been created recently, they are mainly restricted to temperate areas and vegetative traits such as leaf and wood traits. Here, we present Rock n' Seeds, a database of seed functional traits and germination experiments from Brazilian rock outcrop vegetation, recognized as outstanding centers of diversity and endemism.

Materials And Methods: A total of 60 discs and 40 rectangular specimens were fabricated from one CAD-CAM (AvaDent), one 3D printed (Cosmos Denture), and two conventional heat polymerized (Lucitone 199 and VipiWave) materials for denture base fabrication. Roughness was determined by Ra value; the contact angle was measured by the sessile drop method.
Adrenoceptors are the receptors for catecholamines, adrenaline, and noradrenaline. They are divided in α (α and α) and β (β, β and β). α-adrenoceptors are subdivided in α, α and α.

Materials And Methods: Some characteristics such as relative dentin abrasivity (RDA), viscosity (V), cytotoxicity, and fluoride and calcium (Ca) availability of the toothpastes were also tested. Samples were positioned on removable intraoral appliances from 15 volunteers (n=4), according to the groups, C-control (0 ppm fluoride), F-sodium monofluorophosphate (MFP), A-MFP and arginine+calcium carbonate, CSP-calcium sodium phosphosilicate, and CS-MFP and calcium silicate+sodium phosphate.
Aims: To evaluate the expression of genes and proteins involved in the urethral components: vessels, nerves, and extracellular matrix, in female rats after trauma by vaginal distension (VD) and after electrical stimulation therapy (electrotherapy).
Methods: We analyzed the urethras of three groups of 18 female rats 30 days posttrauma by VD: control (no interventions); trauma (animals that had VD); and electrotherapy group (those that had VD and were treated with electrical stimulation). We compared the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), nerve growth factor (NGF), collagen types I and III (COL1a1 and COL3a1), and lysyl-oxidase like 1 (LOXL1) among the groups.
Purpose: The study compared the color change, lightness, and translucency of hybrid resin ceramics exposed to toothbrush abrasion and surface treatment.
Materials And Methods: Four hybrid ceramics [Lava Ultimate (LU), Vita Enamic (EN), Shofu HC (SH), and Crystal Ultra (CU)] were compared with a glass-ceramic (Vita Mark II) control. One hundred and twenty specimen blocks were prepared using a precision saw machine.
The purpose of this study was to characterize a chlorhexidine-encapsulated nanotube modified pit-and-fissure sealant for biofilm development prevention. HS (commercial control); HNT (HS+15wt%Halloysite-clay-nanotube); CHX10% (HS+15wt% HNT-encapsulated with chlorhexidine 10%); and CHX20% (HS+15wt% HNT-encapsulated with CHX20%) were tested. Degree-of-conversion (DC%), Knoop hardness (KHN), and viscosity were analyzed.

Methods: Muscle-derived stem cells were injected into the tail vein of rats 3 days after trauma by vaginal distention. Urethras were analyzed from 30 animals divided into three groups: control without injury or treatment, trauma (30 days post-injury), and MDSC (30 days post-injury who received MDSC therapy).
Five new examples of 9,10-chloro(bromo)-7-amine-spiro[chromeno[4,3-b]quinoline-6,1'-cycloalkanes] - in which cycloalkanes = cyclopentane, cyclohexane, and cycloheptane - were synthesized at yields of 42-56%, using a sequential one-pot two-step cyclocondensation reaction of three different scaffolds of 2-aminobenzonitriles and the respective spiro[chroman-2,1'-cycloalkan]-4-ones, and using AlCl as the catalyst in a solvent-free method. Subsequently, the five new spirochromeno-quinolines and nine quinolines previously published by us (14 modified tacrine scaffolds) were subjected to AChE and BChE inhibitory activity evaluation. The molecule containing a spirocyclopentane derivative had the highest AChE and BChE inhibitory activity (IC = 3.
