To investigate the effect of sodium bicarbonate instead of sodium chloride, the changes in pH, turbidity, aggregation, and conformation of myofibrillar protein solution with various amounts of sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate were studied. When the sodium bicarbonate was increased from 0% to 0.4%, accompanied by the sodium chloride being decreased from 2.

CRL and CRL are two key E3 ubiquitin ligases involved in DNA replication and DNA damage repair. But CDT2 and DDB2 are opposite prognostic factors in kinds of cancers, and the underlining mechanism needs to be elucidated.

Monolayer or bilayer graphene of high quality are characterized by Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. The refractivity and reflectivity of the air-graphene-LiNbOsystem are measured experimentally and compared with those of a LiNbOwaveguide by the prism coupling method.

In this study, we investigated biological and genetic functions of in the phytopathogen . We found that hyphal growth, conidial germination, and septa formation were significantly inhibited in deletion mutant ∆FgGPI.

Clinical investigations show that chronic stress is commonly present in the course of AML and associated with adverse outcome. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms are elusive.

Synthetical assessment of coastal vulnerability is crucial for effective interventions and long-term planning. However, there have been few studies based on integrative analyses of ecological and physical characteristics and socioeconomic conditions in urban coastal areas.

To support the genetic improvement of wheat HS tolerance (HST), we conducted fine mapping of TaHST1, a locus required for maintaining wheat vegetative and reproductive growth under elevated temperatures.

This contribution summarizes the latest achievement of POM-based nanomaterials in cancer diagnosis and various therapeutics to put forward our fundamental viewpoints on the design principles of modified POMs based on their application. In addition, major challenges and perspectives in this field are also discussed.

Casting it as statistical learning of the flow map, we derive the parametric form by representing the unresolved high wavenumber Fourier modes as functionals of the resolved variable's trajectory. The reduced models are nonlinear autoregression (NAR) time series models, with coefficients estimated from data by least squares.

Aim: To explore the expression level and molecular mechanism of in GC tissues and cells, and analyze its significance in the prognosis of GC.
The surface of poly (p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) (PBO) fibers with self-healing and ultraviolet (UV)-resistance performance play the key role in prolonging their service lifespan. Although great advances have been made in the single aspect of above two properties, integration of self-healing and anti-UV performance into the surface of PBO fiber is still a challenge. In this study, the coagulation strategy mediated by metal-organic framework (MOF) is proposed to construct the multifunctional surface of PBO fibers.

In Fusarium graminearum, a trichothecene biosynthetic complex known as the toxisome forms ovoid and spherical structures in the remodelled endoplasmic reticulum (ER) under mycotoxin-inducing conditions. Previous studies also demonstrated that disruption of actin and tubulin results in a significant decrease in deoxynivalenol (DON) biosynthesis in F. graminearum.

However, the classification method based on feature extraction requires a lot of prior knowledge when extracting data features and lacks a good measurement standard, which makes the development of BCI. In particular, the development of a multi-classification brain-computer interface is facing a bottleneck.

The genetic mechanisms of this remarkable evolutionary success are not well understood. By whole-genome sequencing of populations from 25 subspecies within the genera Triticum and Aegilops, we identified composite introgression from wild populations contributing to a substantial portion (4-32%) of the bread wheat genome, which increased the genetic diversity of bread wheat and allowed its divergent adaptation.

Background: The Microplasty (MP) instrumentation designed for the Phase III Oxford mobile-bearing unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) system is considered a better option to achieve more accurate component positioning and alignment. In the present study, we focused on short-term clinical and radiological outcomes to determine whether the MP instrumentation can reduce the short-term revision rate and occurrence of outliers of metallic components.
Methods: The literature in PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, and Web of Science was searched up to May 2020.
Background: Chemoresistance is emerging as a major barrier to successful treatment in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and evasion of apoptosis is among the fundamental underlying mechanisms. Therefore, unraveling molecular networks that drive this process constitutes an urgent unmet need. Herein, we aim to characterize the role and molecular mechanism of the tumor necrosis factor ɑ-induced protein 8 (TNFAIP8), a novel anti-apoptotic molecule, in AML chemoresistance.

A dual-site catalyst allows for a synergetic reaction in the close proximity to enhance catalysis. It is highly desirable to create dual-site interfaces in single-atom system to maximize the effect. Herein, we report a cation-deficient electrostatic anchorage route to fabricate an atomically dispersed platinum-titania catalyst (Pt /Ti O ), which shows greatly enhanced hydrogen evolution activity, surpassing that of the commercial Pt/C catalyst in mass by a factor of 53.
