The association between Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Spondyloarthritis (SpA) has been known for years, as has the concept that IBD is associated with an altered intestinal bacterial composition, a condition known as "dysbiosis". The aim of this study was to assess the frequency and type of undiagnosed PsychD in IBD patients. Two hundred and thirty-seven adult IBD (136 Crohn's disease (CD) and 101 ulcerative colitis (UC)) outpatients were consecutively recruited at a single university hospital centre between January 2018 and June 2019.
