Hemp ( L.) is a cosmopolitan annual herbaceous plant used in the past as a source of textile fiber. Currently, hemp is receiving great interest as animal feed due to its chemical and nutritional properties.
Hemp is a plant that has different types and is used mainly for animal food, especially in the form of oil or protein cake.
Scientists studied 20 goats to see how adding hemp flowers to their diet would affect the milk they produce.
The results showed that while the overall amount of milk didn’t change, the milk from goats that ate hemp flowers had more beneficial fatty acids, which are good for health.
