Granular cell tumour of the breast.

Granular cell tumours (GCT) of the breast have similar clinical and radiological features to breast carcinomas. We present a case of a female patient with a tender, palpable lump, and associated skin changes. Imaging of the lesion was suspicious of malignancy.

High-Grade Prostate Cancer Invading the Vagina: A Case Report of an Unusual Prostate Cancer Diagnosed in a Man with Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome.

We report an extremely rare case of locally advanced prostate cancer in a phenotypic male patient with persistent müllerian duct syndrome. The patient underwent a robot-assisted retzius-sparing radical prostatectomy, bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection, radical hysterectomy, vaginectomy, and salpingo-ophorectomy. He was continent at 3 months follow-up.

Leiomyosarcoma mimicking acute appendicitis: a cautionary tale!

Appendiceal neoplasms are rare, occurring in <1.4% of all appendicectomy specimens. Carcinoid tumours and adenocarcinomas comprise the majority of cases, however, lymphomas or sarcomas may also arise within the appendix.

Propionibacterium acnes: an underestimated etiology in the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis?

Background: Propionibacterium acnes is a common pathogen in infections after shoulder surgery. Recent reports found positive P acnes cultures in a high percentage of patients who had revision shoulder arthroplasty for "aseptic loosening" without any overt signs of infection. Isolation of P acnes is difficult, and by use of conventional microbiological protocols of 48-hour incubation, a considerable proportion of patients with possible P acnes infection may remain unidentified.

Metastatic mesothelioma presenting with proptosis.

Purpose: To describe the clinical presentation and histologic findings in a patient with metastatic mesothelioma presenting to the ophthalmologist with nonaxial proptosis.
