Transnational learning and teaching activities: Smart Healthcare Engineering.

The new maintenance engineers become self-taught and learn from daily dedication, from solving repetitive problems, from exchanging experiences with a colleague, from reading a recommended book and little else. Their own experience has been the main reference for maintenance professionals who have not given up and have become experts. And within the maintenance activities, sanitary engineering plays a very important role.

Morphometry of the internal iliac artery in different ethnic groups.

The internal iliac artery supplies the pelvic organs, as well as the osseous and muscular components of pelvic walls. The goal of our study is a statistical analysis of the internal iliac artery and its branches compared to the data recorded in the Literature. A total of 100 internal iliac arteries were dissected, 60 arteries from male and 40 from female individuals.

Histochemical evaluation of angiogenesis in endometrial adenocarcinoma.

The formation of new vessels from endothelial cells, termed angiogenesis, is a complex process that is controlled by numerous paracrine factors. Vacularization of tumor tissue is a prerequsite for tumor growth and enables the dissemination of tumor cells throughout the body. Angiogenesis is classically assessed by counting the vessels or clusters of endothelial cells after selective immunohistochemical staining.

[Prenatal diagnosis and management of laparoschisis. Case report].

The prenatal diagnosis of laparoschisis may be established by ultrasound early in the end of the first pregnancy trimester. The visualisation of the abdominal wall defect may predict a good fetal prognosis in the absence of the other anomalies and may establish the most favorable moment of birth. Identification of several risk factors for this malformation could lead to the decrease of its incidence.
