Background: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the presence of rib fracture on mortality and morbidity in blunt thoracic trauma (BTT).
Methods: Records of patients aged over 18 and admitted with BTT between January 2017 and October 2019 dates were ret-rospectively evaluated. Only patients with both BTT and rib fracture were included in the study.
