Objective: Machine learning and deep learning techniques offer a promising multidisciplinary solution for subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) detection. The novel transfer learning approach mitigates the time constraints associated with the traditional techniques and demonstrates a superior performance. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and CNN-based transfer learning models in differentiating between aneurysmal SAH and nonaneurysmal SAH.

While 2% of spinal cord tumors are hemangioblastomas, combined cervical hemangioblastomas and pregnancy is rare. Some reports suggest that hemodynamic and hormonal changes in pregnancy might increase hemangioblastoma growth and aggravate symptoms.

Material And Methods: Fifty albino Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups that underwent experimental head trauma. Oxidative parameters were compared in the serum and brain tissue of the different groups.
Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the protective effects of erythropoietin, dextran/saline and erythropoietin in combination with dextran/saline on brain edema and lipid peroxidation following traumatic brain injury in rats.
Methods: In the study, 40 male 3-month-old albino Wistar rats, weighing 250-340 g, were divided into four groups, each consisting of ten rats. Traumatic brain injury was induced in all rats by the weight-drop method, and erythropoietin (5,000 U/kg) and/or dextran and saline (8 ml/kg) solutions were injected intraperitoneally ten minutes after trauma.

Objective: Humans and other animals are liable to expose to low doses of malathion (MAL). However, experimental studies on its toxic threshold dose and toxic low-dose effects have not been conducted. The aims of this study were to detect the initiation of the toxic effects of sub-acute low doses (2.

This effect could contribute to the development of brain injury in some alcoholic patients. We investigated the protective effect of caffeic acid phenyl esther (CAPE) and intralipid (IL) on oxidative stress and neurotoxicity induced by ethanol intake.

Hydatid cyst is a parasitic infestation that rarely affects the brain. A 14 year-old child with a large mass of intracranial hydatid cysts (122 x 110 x 98 mm), but no symptoms except for an intermittent headache for 2 months is presented. Triple cysts were removed after suitable craniotomy.

Brain stem is the most vital part of our body and is a transitional region of the brain that connects the cerebrum with the spinal cord. Though, being small in size, it is full of indispensible functions such as the breathing, heart beat. Injury to the brain stem has similar effects as a brain injury, but it is more fatal.

Materials And Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into eight experimental groups: control, INH, ETM, INH+ETM, INH+CAPE, ETM+CAPE, INH+ETM+CAPE, and CAPE treatment group, with ten animals in each group. INH and ETM doses were given orally within tap water for 30 days.
Background And Objectives: The induction and inhibition of cytochrome P450 isoenzymes by antiepileptic drugs lead to changes in the clearance of anesthetic drugs eliminated via hepatic metabolism. We investigated the duration of the sedation and additional anesthetic needs during magnetic resonance imaging in epileptic children receiving antiepileptic drugs that cause either enzyme induction or inhibition.
Methods: In American Society of Anesthesiology I-II, 120 children aged 3-10 years were included.
Unlabelled: Chlorpyriphos is one of the most widely used organophosphate (OP) insecticide in agriculture with potential toxicity. Current post-exposure treatments consist of anti-cholinergic drugs and oxime compounds. We studied the effects of intralipid and caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) on chlorpyriphos toxicity to compose an alternative or supportive treatment for OP poisoning.

Aim: Malathion is one of the most widely used organophosphate pesticides and herbicides. It has given rise to major clinical problems by its poisoning in all over the world. Malathion also a highly lipophilic agent, and tends to accumulate within lipid-rich tissue like a brain in the body, causing toxicity.
