Stability over time in the preferences of older persons for life-sustaining treatment.

Objective: To measure the stability of life-sustaining treatment preferences amongst older people and analyse the factors that influence stability.

Design: Longitudinal cohort study.

Setting: Primary care centres, Granada (Spain).
