Access and models of obstructive sleep apnea care: a cross-national comparison of Canadian and Australian patient survey data.

Study Objectives: To describe similarities and differences in OSA care pathways and their impact on patients in Australia and Canada, including among urban versus rural participants.

Methods: In this secondary data analysis of patient surveys exploring OSA care in Australia and Canada, we recruited adults with a prior diagnosis of OSA from market research companies, social media, and patient-facing medical associations. Residential postal codes were used to classify participants as urban or rural.

Herein, we design and 3D print scaffolds comprised of polyether-ether-ketone (PEEK) and sodium-carboxymethyl cellulose (Na-CMC). Intra-tumoral distribution of Ki-67 and Cyclin D1 in ER+ mammary carcinoma: quantitative evaluation.

Background: In spite of the strong evidence demonstrating the role of overexpression of Ki-67 and Cyclin D1 markers in breast carcinomas, clinical and pathological data remain to be discussed. This can be explained partly by intratumor heterogeneity.

Objectives: To define the prevalence and clinical significance of Ki-67 and Cyclin D1 overexpression in primary breast tumors ER positive, while highlighting the existence of intratumor heterogeneity in this type of cancer.

Aim(s): This paper examined the impact of workplace bullying (WPB) on mild aggressive deviant behaviour, such as knowledge hiding and employee time theft, in Pakistani health care institutions. Additionally, this study investigated the mediating role of negative emotions on the relationship between WPB and its outcomes.

Background: Although mild deviant behaviour has been proven to affect the health care sector, its antecedents are still untapped.

Role of Ivabradine in Patients with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction.

Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) accounts for 50% of patients with heart failure. HFpEF carries almost similar morbidity and mortality outcomes to heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Despite many trials, no management has been shown to improve mortality outcomes in HFpEF.

Prevalence of Psychosocial and Behavioral Aspects in Victims of Motorcycle Accidents in Civil Hospital, Karachi.

Introduction Motorcycles are common in a developing nation like Pakistan. In addition to their benefits, motorcycles carry a high risk for accident and injury. Many factors can exacerbate the risk of motorcycle operation including the use of mobile phones while riding, a lack of knowledge of traffic rules, not following road rules or non-satisfactory vehicle health and road conditions.

Knowledge and Perceptions about Cancer Treatment-associated Infertility among Young Patients at a Tertiary Care Hospital in Pakistan.

Introduction: Infertility after cancer treatment can cause significant emotional stress and grief for cancer survivors. In this study we assessed knowledge and perceptions among young cancer patients regarding the topic of cancer and infertility related to different treatment options. Material and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on young cancer patients in the Clinical Oncology Department, JPMC, Karachi, from January to August 2013.

Primary testicular leiomyosarcoma.

Primary leiomyosarcoma of the testis is a rare condition with only 13 cases reported. We present a case of primary intra-testicular leiomyosarcoma in a 45 year old patient who presented with painless testicular enlargement. Ultrasound revealed a large heterogeneous right testicular solid mass with moderate hydrocele and huge retroperitoneal mass.
