Relationship of domestic violence with pregnancy symptoms and pregnancy experience in Iranian pregnant women: a cross-sectional study.

Objective: Violence has had adverse effects on the physical and psychological dimensions of pregnant women. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship of domestic violence with pregnancy symptoms and pregnancy experience.

Design: In this cross-sectional study, pregnant women were selected through two-stage cluster sampling method.

Background: One of the most important population challenges during the last three decades has been the significant decrease in the fertility rate worldwide.
