Introduction: Infectious diseases present a substantial worldwide health challenge, yet vaccines have played a crucial role in significantly decreasing illness rates. Despite their effectiveness, global vaccination coverage stands at 85%, leaving a considerable number of infants without routine immunization. Our study seeks to examine the occurrence of delayed primary vaccination and the factors influencing it in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia addressing a critical void in current research.

Is the volume of the maxillary sinus altered after LeFort I orthognathic surgery? A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Purpose: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to investigate anatomical changes in the maxillary sinus after LeFort I osteotomy.

Methods: The study protocol was developed in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis Protocols, and it was registered with the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews under registration number CRD42021236412.

Results: Our search strategy yielded 64 articles.

Methods: The protocol was developed according to (PRISMA-P) and was admitted to PROSPERO under accreditation code #CRD42020177816. Furthermore, the reporting of the present SR was conducted based on the PRISMA checklist.

Impact of lockdown on COVID-19 prevalence and mortality during 2020 pandemic: observational analysis of 27 countries.

Background: This study aimed to assess the impact of 15 days before, 15 days during, and 15 days after the lockdown on the trends in the prevalence and mortality in 27 countries during COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: Twenty-seven countries were randomly selected from the different continents. The information on the trends in the prevalence and mortality due to COVID-19 pandemic in 27 countries was obtained from World Health Organization and lockdown data were obtained from concerned countries and their ministries.

Men's Health in Industries: Plastic Plant Pollution and Prevalence of Pre-diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Plastic production is prominently increasing and its pollution is an emerging environmental global health concern. This study aimed to investigate the occurrence of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) among nonsmoking plastic industry workers. Three hundred and forty volunteers male plastic industry workers were interviewed after medical history and examination; finally, 278 nonsmoking plastic industry workers were selected.
