This compound was selected based on in-silico study conducted against several dihalophenylbenzoxazinone analogues using molecular docking towards Methionyl-tRNA synthetase. Synthesis of target compound was carried out using anthranilic acid and 3,4-dichlorobenzoyl chloride.
