Objective: The optimal management of the health system depends on its functions. The functional issues of Iran's health system are organized in a scattered manner and it has many challenges, especially in the field of stewardship. In order to achieve sustainable health-oriented development, bold and smart policy reforms in the main components of the health system are essential.

Exercise is beneficial for symptom management, but newer approaches like multi-function swing suspension training (MFSST) need further investigation. Additionally, tailoring exercises to individual needs remains a challenging area of investigation.

Aminoglycosides are antipseudomonal agents that are effectively and frequently utilized to eradicate this infection. This current study is a retrospective study investigating plasmid-mediated aminoglycoside resistance by focusing on the prevalence of the genes encoding aminoglycoside-modifying enzymes (AMEs) and 16S rRNA methylase among clinical isolates from Taif, Saudi Arabia.

Objective: The driver fatigue detection using multi-channel electroencephalography (EEG) has been extensively addressed in the literature. However, the employment of a single prefrontal EEG channel should be prioritized as it provides users with more comfort. Furthermore, eye blinks from such channel can be analyzed as the complementary information.

While the swift development and production of a COVID-19 vaccine has been a remarkable success, it is equally crucial to ensure that the vaccine is allocated and distributed in a timely and efficient manner. Prior research on pandemic supply chain has not fully incorporated the underlying factors and constraints in designing a vaccine allocation model. This study proposes an innovative vaccine allocation model to contain the spread of infectious diseases incorporating key contributing factors to the risk of uninoculated people including susceptibility rate and exposure risk.

Oral olanzapine (OZ) administration is extensively metabolized (~up to 40% of the administrated dose). In addition, OZ is a P-glycoproteins substrate that impairs the blood-brain barrier (BBB) permeability.

High deformability and vulnerability of biological particles, especially cells, make moving toward the target point inside complex biological environments with the least invasion the most critical factor. In this article, the optimal path of the particle movement is determined by considering the mechanical and morphological properties of the biological cell.

Background: Head and neck cancers include malignancies of the scalp and neck skin, nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, oral cavity, salivary glands, pharynx and larynx. The term ABO secretor refers to people who secrete blood group antigens in their body fluids such as saliva, sweat, tears, semen, and serum. Non-secretors refer to those who do not secrete their blood group antigens in their body fluids.

PEGylated RSV-phospholipid complex bilayer enveloping casein-loaded micelles (PEGPC-CAS MCs) were also developed as passive-targeted nanosystem.
Results: FA- and PEGPC-CAS MCs demonstrated a proper size with monomodal distribution, sustained drug release profiles and good hemocompatibility.
Aim: Multireservoir nanocarriers were fabricated for delivering antineoplastic drug cocktail from herbal and fungal origin. Monascus yellow pigments (MYPs), monascin and ankaflavin, were isolated from red-mold rice, and incorporated within casein micelles (CAS MCs) along with the herbal drug, resveratrol (RSV). Both drugs (MYPs and RSV) were simultaneously incorporated into the hydrophobic core of CAS MCs.

The goal of this study was to investigate the prevalence of genes encoding aminoglycoside resistance and plasmid-mediated quinolone resistance among clinical isolates of . All isolates were phenotypically identified using API 20E and then confirmed genotypically through amplification of the specific gene.

We describe a method for the determination of glyoxylyl-peptide concentration based on the reaction of the alpha-oxo aldehyde group with an excess of O-benzylhydroxylamine. The amount of O-benzylhydroxylamine necessary to convert the alpha-oxo aldehyde group into the corresponding O-benzyloxime was determined by RP-HPLC analysis and corresponded to the quantity of glyoxylyl-peptide used in the experiment.

Deprotection and cleavage of the peptide from the solid support using TFA was followed by unmasking of the glyoxylyl group in solution in the presence of DBU. [] The glyoxylyl peptide was thus generated using non-oxidizing conditions by comparison with the method based on the periodic oxidation of a seryl-precursor.
