Hand hygiene and biomedical waste management among medical students: a quasi-experimental study evaluating two training methods.

Background: Several studies revealed that medical students have low performance levels of hand hygiene (HH) and biomedical waste management (BMWM). However, there have been limited interventions directed at young students targeting HH and BMWM enhancement. Given these data, we aimed at assessing HH and BMWM among medical students after two training methods.
